Privacy Policy

When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture.

Everything else is what you type in: your handle, tagline, bio, location, languages, categories, links, rates, and the contact email and phone you choose to provide. Plus what you create — postings, applications, offers, connections and messages.

We do not track your behaviour. There is no analytics package, no advertising pixel, and no profile-view counting. Where the product shows a figure it cannot support, it shows an em-dash and says why rather than inventing one.

• Public, if your profile is public: name, handle, picture, tagline, bio, location, categories, languages, links, and whether you are open to work. Visible to anyone, signed in or not.
• Only to accepted connections: your contact email and phone. These are masked everywhere else by a database view — not hidden by the page, which means a request that bypasses the interface does not get them either.
• Only to the other party: your messages, offers, and applications.
• Only to you: your saved items. Nobody is told when you save them, and there is no count of who saved what.
• Only to us: reports you file. The person reported is never told who reported them.

You can hide your profile from Discovery at any time in Settings. Hiding is not blocking — people you are already connected to keep their conversation with you.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

We use Supabase to store data and handle authentication, Vercel to host the site, and Google as the sign-in provider. They process data on our behalf so the service can run.

We may disclose information where the law requires it.

Only what sign-in needs. The session cookie set by Supabase keeps you logged in, and a small preference stores whether you chose light or dark mode.

There are no advertising or analytics cookies, which is why you are not being asked to accept any.

Your data stays while your account exists. Delete your account from Settings and it is removed immediately — profile, postings, applications, offers, connections and messages, including from the other side of conversations. It cascades in the database rather than being flagged as hidden, so it is a real deletion and it cannot be undone.

Backups may persist for a short period before rotating out.

• Edit or remove almost anything about you from Edit profile
• Hide your profile from Discovery in Settings
• Block someone — it stops their messages at the database, not just in the interface
• Delete your account entirely, at any time, without asking us

Access is enforced at the database level with row-level security, so the rules above hold regardless of what the interface does. We do not use a key in the application that could bypass them.

No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or who can see it, we will say so in the product rather than only changing the date at the top.
